Details SK 53 SE RUDDINGTON CHURCH STREET (north side) 5/101 War Memorial G.V. II War memorial. c.1918. Portland stone with copper decorations. 3 oval steps each step with bolection type moulding to lower edges. Surmounted by a plinth, moulded to either side with inscription plaque with moulded head to front. Over is the rectangular inscribed base which supports a single column with decorative capital. A single copper gilt sword decorates the front and the capital is surmounted by a single copper gilt cross. Listing NGR: SK5727433130 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 24 January 2017.
