Details SHEEPCOTE STREET 1. 5104 Ladywood B16 Roving Bridge over Birmingham/ Wolverhampton line immediately west of Fazeley Junction SP 0586 NE 31/1 II 2. Dated 1827, Horseley Ironworks (of Tipton) cast iron roving bridge. Unusual at this date in being a virtually flat span of 2 single castings with pierced x pattern parapets, the deck panels bolted into lower flanges. Ashlar footings on swept English bond brick abutments, double ramped approaches. A roving bridge type establishment on the BCN contemporary with Telford's improvements.
