Category B Date Added 23/02/1971 Local Authority Scottish Borders Planning Authority Scottish Borders Parish Newlands NGR NT 15954 47986 Coordinates 315954, 647986 — Built in 1774, the old bridge that formerly carried the Edinburgh-Moffat highway over the Lynne Water has recently been by-passed. Consists of a single segmental arch over the main stream with two subsidiary arches on the left bank over flood-channels. — The village is prettily situated and forms an attractive group.
