Details KING'S LYNN TF6120SE KING STREET 610-1/7/107 Purfleet Bridge GV II Includes: Purfleet Bridge QUEEN STREET. Road over river bridge (Purfleet). Mainly early C19, but fragments of C17 brickwork remain to lower courses of east side. Medieval origins. Yellow, red and gault brick. Referred to as Stone Bridge in Survey of Newland c1250, when it formed the western link between the first and second foundation settlements. Single elliptical arch under soldier arch to east and double soldier arch to west side. Swept parapet walls.
