Category B Date Added 04/11/1971 Local Authority Dumfries And Galloway Planning Authority Dumfries And Galloway Parish Kells NGR NX 60321 84357 Coordinates 260321, 584357 — Stone built bridge spanning Polharrow burn, built early 18th century by donation of Quentin Maclurg. 2 depressed arches with subsidiary flood arch to N over land; total span 50 ft approximately. Roughly squared voussoirs and springers small V-cutwater buttresses between main spans. Spandrels, soffit, abutments and parapets all of rubble. Parapet with granite coping; slightly splayed embrasures.
