Details BURFORD AND UPTON CHURCH LANE AND SIGNET SP2512 (Enlargement) Patrick Monument about 7/24 5m South of South Transept of Church of St John. GV II Chest tomb, Mid to late C18. Enriched ashlar. The elaborate chest supports a (possibly later) scrollwork base for a vase. Enriched inscription panels and set back side panels with garlands and fruit and flower swags. Shield shaped indent on south side of vase support with the wool-mark of Samuel Patrick (died c.1720).
