Heritage listing

History: Before 1833, probably dating from George Buck s period as engineer for the Montgomeryshire Canal. Exterior: Simple trabeated structure with "fish-bellied" cast iron girders supporting modern timber deck and handrails. Steep approaches up rubble abutments; east abutment with steeply ramped base and curving ends with piers, brickwork parapets with stone cappings. West abutment retains some rubble facings and buttresses, largely rebuilt in later brick. Location: Carrying a footpath (Parson s Lane) over the Montgomeryshire Canal to the south west of Llandysilio Parish Church.
