Category B Date Added 16/04/1971 Local Authority Aberdeenshire Planning Authority Aberdeenshire Parish Methlick NGR NJ 85773 37322 Coordinates 385773, 837322 — 1780, repaired (probably internally only) 1840. Roofless. Rectangular plan, split boulder rubble with cherry cocking; simple bellcote at W. gable, single arched window and arched and keystoned doorpiece below; 2 large windows flanked by 2 smaller ones, all arched and keystoned with stair at E. on S. flank; N. wall blind. 1827/8 Mears bell. — There is a bellcote of very similar character at Haddo Farm now otherwise considerably altered
