Heritage listing
Details NYMET ROWLAND SS 70 NW 2/50 Nymet Bridge - - II Road bridge over railway and River Yeo. Circa 1850 snecked local mudstone including rock-faced ashlar quoins, voussoirs, drip course and coping and a very small amount of C20 brick mending. Tall bridge of 4 spans carried on plain rectangular piers with simple imposts and segmental-arched vaults. The pier set in the river stands on a slightly wider starling with pointed cutwaters either end. At either end of the bridge the abutments project a little and are very slightly battered as they rise past the plain dripcourse at road level to serve as terminals for the parapet. The stone parapet has flat coping with narrow chamfered edges. The road ramps slightly over the river but is flat over the railway and this is reflected in the dripcourse and parapet.
