Details SJ 99 SE MARPLE PEAK FOREST CANAL 2/127 No. 16 bridge - G.V. II Roving bridge. Between 1794 and 1801. Benjamin Outram and Thomas Brown engineers. Roughly dressed stone, finely dressed copings. Semi-circular arch, stone band and rounded copings. The retaining/parapet walls are curved in plan, one end being terminated in a square pier, the other sweeping down to tow-path level.
