Details This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 26/10/2016 SZ 1792, 2/199 PUREWELL ROAD (north side), War Memorial (Formerly listed as: BURTON ROAD (East Side) War Memorial) GV II Memorial to the fallen of 1914-18 and 1939-45 World Wars. Granite shaft and Celtic cross rises from plinth and 3 steps. Set back from road in a garden. The War Memorial forms a group with Purewell Farmhouse, Purewell. Listing NGR: SZ1700592974 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 7 December 2016.
