Details TF 0824-0924 9/168 MORTON STATION ROAD (north side) War Memorial G.V. II War memorial. c.1918 by Reginald Blomfield. Limestone ashlar. 3 octagonal steps inscribed with: "R.I.P. To the Glory of God and in Memory of the sons of the parish who fell in the Great War. 1914-1918. Their names are recorded in the Church." Octagonal plinth with moulded base and octagonal shaft with acanthus leaf decoration around the base. Moulded cap and frieze of quatrefoils and battlements. Gabled crucifixion with military saint on east side. Listing NGR: TF0980324004 This List entry has been amended to add the source for War Memorials Register. This source was not used in the compilation of this List entry but is added here as a guide for further reading, 27 July 2017.
