Details SO 76 NE 3/40 ASTLEY CP ASTLEY Monument to Walter Acton Moseley about 6 m west of west tower of Church of St Peter GV II Chest tomb. Late C18. Grey standstone ashlar. In an Adam style. Set on raised stone base which formerly had railings; moulded plinth and capping; Vitruvian scroll motif runs around top edge below capping; inscription panels on long sides have fan motifs at corners. East short side bears coat of arms. Commemorates Walter Acton Moseley late of Glasshampton, inscription partly illegible.
