Details MILLOM ST GEORGE'S ROAD SD 18 SE (south-west side) 15/37 War Memorial immediately to north of St George's Church GV II Memorial to Boer war in form of Cross in square enclosure. c.1900. Low wall with iron railing surrounds stepped base with battered plinth which has lettering in sunk bands, some interlace, rear has animal. Shaft has entwined vines and interlace. Celtic-type cross head has cable moulding and interlace. Listing NGR: SD1717780007 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 2 February 2017.
