Details ST41NW KINGSBURY EPISCOPI CP MID LAMBROOK 6/115 Mid Lambrook Manor (previously listed as Middle Lambrook Farmhouse 1.4.59 GV II* Manor house. Circa 1500, much rebuilt C17 and C18. Coursed and squared rubble, coped verges, slate roofs, ashlar stacks. Main range extending east-west, service wing to the south forming an L-plan. Main front of 2:1:2 bays, 2 and 3-light stone-mullioned windows with labels, each light with a cambered head, casements with glazing bars. Feature of salient interest is the 2-storeyed porch with buttresses, those to front in the angle, very low front-facing gable, parapet with blind quatrefoils and a moulded coping, string below with large gargoyles, 3-light window on first floor, door opening to ground floor in a moulded 4-centred arch opening, plank door, small stair-turret to left return. Rear with casements in conforming style, 4-centred arch door opening with reused quatrefoil panels set over. Long 2-storey wing to rear, 5 principal door openings, plank doors.
