Official information
The Max Faulkner site commemorates the life and achievements of the English golfer Max Faulkner, who won the Open Championship in 1951. A plaque honoring him is located on the corner of Sutton Place and De La Warr Parade in Bexhill, where he learned the game from his father. The plaque was re-erected in 2019 after a campaign by local residents.
