About

Madame Tussauds opened on Marylebone Road in 1884 and is the original of a now-global chain of waxwork museums. Around 250 wax figures are arranged across themed zones — A-list celebrities, royalty, sports legends, world leaders — with the Chamber of Horrors recreating Marie Tussaud's original Revolutionary-Paris collection of death masks. London tour buses still queue at the front entrance.
