About

M&D's, opened in 1995 within Strathclyde Country Park near Motherwell, is Scotland's national theme park — the only major roller-coaster park north of the border. Around 30 rides include the Tornado, Tsunami inverted coaster, Runaway Mine Train and a substantial children's section. Free entry, pay-per-ride. Adjacent are Amazonia rainforest dome, Scotland's Theme Park Cinema and a 36-hole crazy golf — making it the de facto family-day-out destination for the Glasgow conurbation.
