Details LILFORD CUM WIGSTHORPE PILTON RDAD TL08SW 7/100 Lilford Bridge over River Nene 23/05/67 at TL 0263 8386 (Formerly listed as Lilford Bridge over River Nene) - II Bridge. Early C19, probably for Lord Lilford. Limestone ashlar. Single shallow arch with keyblock. Parapet has square balusters linked by arches. Raised band below parapet. Earlier bridge built by Elmes family of Lilford Hall (q.v.), recorded as having l0 arches. (Bridges, J., The History and Antiquities of Northamptonshire, Vol.2, p.241).
