Details SY 08 NE NEWTON POPPLEFORD BRIDGE END AND HARPFORD Newton Poppleford 5/48 Leat Bridge approximately 60 - metres east of Newton Poppleford Bridge GV II Small road bridge over leat. Circa 1840. Squared blocks of local stone with limestone ashlar abutments, voussoirs and vaults and granite ashlar coping. Vertical abutments and single low segmental arch. Plain granite coping and C20 timber parapet. Leat bridge built at the same time as nearby Newton Poppleford Bridge (q.v.).
