Bridge carrying farm access track over former Dumfries-Lockerbie branch railway. Single segmental arch made of cast-iron, with individual members reaching from springings to crown of arch. Abutments and parapet terminal piers all red ashlar, former bull-faced, latter channelled. Decorative ramped parapet balustrade also cast-iron. — Line closed 22.11.1965. (D. Smith, LITTLE RAILWAYS OF S.W. SCOTLAND, 1969, p.57).
