Details KINGSCOTE KINGSCOTE VILLAGE ST 8196 12/109 Hathaway and Unidentified Monument, about 6m north west of tower in churchyard of Church of St. John the Baptist GV II Chest tomb to Richard Hathaway and unidentified pedestal tomb, both probably mid/late C18. Limestone. Both with moulded plinth and capping on base, with indented ends. Hathaway with fluted frieze over plain end panels, slightly bellied cartouches to sides. Unidentified with pyramidal cap rising to gadrooned top section, extremely eroded. Slightly bellied end cartouches, delicate relief surround to side panels with floral frieze to south and key pattern to north.
