Details TRING GRAND UNION CANAL - SP 91 SW WENDOVER ARM 4/63 Bridge No. 2 - (Gamnel Bridge) at Tringford Road - II Canal crossover and road bridge. Circa 1797 by William Jessop, chief engineer for Grand Junction Canal Company. Brown brick with red brick arch and blue brick band to base of parapet. Special blue brick copings. A narrow hump-backed bridge with tall 3-centred arched span and battered sides. Rectangular metal tie-plates over arch. No tow path since towpath crosses from S to N side of canal at this bridge.
