Category B Date Added 18/03/1971 Local Authority Highland Planning Authority Highland Parish Golspie NGR NC 84041 00542 Coordinates 284041, 900542 — Thomas Telford, 1810-15. Single span rubble bridge; dressed rubble arch ring and parapet cope; shallow end buttresses. Short obelisk with Gaelic inscription mounted in centre of upstream parapet. — Parliamentary road from Bonar Bridge to Wick (A9) completed by 1819. Present route superceded the old road which passed to the seaward side of Dunrobin Castle. Bridge now by-passed by realigned road.
