Details ST 92 SE EBBESBOURNE WAKE EBBESBOURNE WAKE VILLAGE (north side) 6/115 War Memorial outside school gates GV II War memorial. 1918. Limestone. Classical style square pillar with plinth and plain panels with names and inscriptions to men who served and died in 1914-18 war, with names added for those who served in 1939-45 war. Guilloche frieze and cyma-moulded cornice, low pediment with ivy carving in tympanum and antifixae, vase finial. A simple well-designed example.
