Decorative bridge on drive to NE of Birkhall. Cast- and wrought-iron railings of interlocking ovals with cast-iron posts, on panelled wrought-iron girder. Granite abutments. — A Group with Birkhall with Summerhouse, Wendy House, Garden Gate and Terraces, Larders, Rope Bridge and Stables. Identical bridge to be found on public road to E of pump house, to SW of Birkhall has been constructed of traditional ironwork facing a new structure of circa 1991. No foundry plate visible. Grouped with Birkhall, the stables, larders and rope bridge. It is a good example of a decorative estate bridge.
