Details SD 9767 CONISTONE WITH KILNSEY KILNSEY ROAD Conistone 23/61 Conistone Bridge over River Wharfe 10.9.54 - II Bridge. Late C18 with C19 extension to east. Ashlar. The original bridge approximately 90 metres long, composed of a central wide segmental arch flanked by similar smaller arches all over the river, with revetment walls and flood arches beyond. Pointed cutwaters flanking central arch with pilasters over, also pilasters flanking side and flood arches, all carried over the deep projecting band at road level to oversailing ridged parapet coping. The eastern addition has 2 flood arches with pointed cutwaters, flanking rusticated pilasters and incised parapet and buttress copings.
