Meeting House type, ridge parallel with street but entrance on gable front within railed forecourt. Central gabled porch with arched doorway with fanlight, flanked by flat roofed projections, each with 1 window; main gable above has central band arched opening above entrance and flanking oculi. Rendered with raised window and door margins. Street elevation except for 2 minor doors. Rear elevation, exposed rubble originally symmetrical with central pair of tall windows flanking pulpit and 1 window beyond at each side at ground and gallery levels (all but left hand ground level now blocked) 6 pane sash, tall window reglazed with modern frames. β Originally named Independent Chapel. Ecclesiastical building in use as such.
