Date Added 29/09/1951 Last Date Amended 05/05/1993 Type Ecclesiastical: burial ground, cemetery, graveyard; church Local Authority Perth And Kinross Parish Monzievaird And Strowan NGR NN 82047 21196 Coordinates 282047, 721196 — The monument consists of the remains of Strowan church and surrounding churchyard, but excluding the Somervell burial area. The site was in ecclesiastical use from an early date until 1829, when it was abandoned and has since fallen into disrepair, having been unroofed at the date of its abandonment. The area to be scheduled consists of the entire graveyard, including its perimeter wall, but excluding that portion of the graveyard lying to the N of the church ruins, as marked in red on the accompanying plan.
