Category B Date Added 16/04/1971 Supplementary Information Updated 09/06/2021 Local Authority Aberdeenshire Planning Authority Aberdeenshire Parish Chapel Of Garioch NGR NJ 69647 17870 Coordinates 369647, 817870 — Opened 9/6/1839. Gothick, design based on parish church, but centre parts of gables advanced and pinnacles at bellcote. Pinned red granite, original glazing, (formerly) piend roofed session house northeast wall (2021). U-plan gallery, original pulpit with sounding board. — Church no longer in use for church services by 1970 but graveyard remains in use (2021). The church building is now roofless and is maintained as a consolidated ruin (2021). Minor updates to the statement of special interest and description carried out in 2021.
