Details TQ 19 SW BUSHEY SPARROWS HERNE (Southwest side) Bushey 10/148 The War Memorial - at junction with School Lane - II War Memorial. 1922 by Sir W.Reid Dick. Ashlar. Massive blocks stepped up from base and projecting to centre front. Slightly tapering up to head. Virtually free standing female figure, down-cast gaze, one hand to chin, the other holding a wreath. Dates 1914 and 1918 in relief to either side. Names of war dead inscribed to rear. Listing NGR: TQ1380294744 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 12 January 2017.
