Details 1. 5191 SOUTH STREET (West Side) War Memorial SY 4692 1/446 II GV 2. Circa 1920. Ashlar. Wall, breaking back to enclose obelisk with moulded plinth; crocketed pinnacles in angles; gabled top; niche with figure of St George and the Dragon. 1 rusticated and vermiculated pier of former Church Wall, incorporated at north end. Parish Church of St Mary, the churchyard walls, the War Memorial, and wall to the Vicarage Garden form a group. Listing NGR: SY4659592622 This List entry has been amended to add sources for War Memorials Online and the War Memorials Register. These sources were not used in the compilation of this List entry but are added here as a guide for further reading, 7 December 2016.
