Details SU 94 NE SHALFORD CP THE STREET 3/162 Bridge over the River Tillingbourne II SEE ALSO GUILDFORD BOROUGH. Bridge. Dated 1758 on west wide. Brown and red brick with stone coping. Three arches, largest to centre. Parapet walls with end piers approximately 3Β½ feet high from road surface. Southern half of bridge is in Shalford C.P. former Guildford rural district, northern half is in Guildford Borough, the boundary running in the middle of the stream.
