Details SU 8822-8922 EASEBOURNE EASEBOURNE LANE 22/7 Bridge over the River Rother 18.6.59 (Partly in Midhurst parish and formerly listed under North Street in that Parish) II Bridge. Built in 1826. Ashlar. Two wide segmental arches. Parapet. In the centre of the parapet on the upstream side is a stone panel showing clasped hands and the words Midhurst and Easebourne. One of the arches was widened in 1912 by the springing of another arch outside and above the older one. The Bridge is now much obscured by the addition of a separate pedestrian bridge which has been cantilevered out on the north west side.
