Details This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 13 September 2021 to reformat text to current standards SE 3320 6/123 DENBY DALE ROAD (East Side) Bridge over Ings Beck II East Side: low bridge parapet of coursed squared stone with wide, rounded coping, railings missing. In centre a milestone dated 1825, signed J L Tyldesley, surveyor, giving distances to Buckton, Stalybridge, Manchester and two other places now illegible. Over the water a handsome segmental arch with cut voussoirs and keystone supporting band at former road level. West side: not of special interest, the arch has been built over; only the parapet remains. Listing NGR: SE3311120319 Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
