Details ST 83 SW MERE WOODLANDS ROAD (west side) 2/90 Bridge over former moat c.17m north of chapel wall, Woodlands Manor GV II Small pedestrian bridge over former moat. Probably C18. Rubble limestone in one low segmental arch with rough voussoirs and large central projecting keystone each side, flat parapets to flat saddle-back copings to squareended abutments. Walkway paved in stone slabs, reputed to be tiles from roof of the Manor (qv). Bridge may have provided access to path towards St Michaels Church (qv).
