Details TL 81 NE GREAT BRAXTED BRAXTED PARK ROAD BRAXTED PARK 2/55 Bridge crossing the lake to south of Braxted Park House q.v. 2/46 GV II Bridge. C18/early C19. Stone, stucco and gault brick. West face, gault brick end pilasters and inner bays, moulded cornice over, forward rusticated centre section with rusticated arch and keystone, moulded cornice. The parapet has moulded coping and 3 panels of vase balusters. The tunnel runs under the Lime Avenue to the east face. The water level is higher this side and falls into a semi-circular overflow basin adjoined to right and left of the central parapet panel. Parapet similar to east face.
