Details SW 72 NW MAWGAN-IN-MENEAGE 1/116 Bridge at SW 71425 - GV II Road bridge over stream at the head of a creek. Circa late C18-early C19 possibly widened circa mid-C19 at the upstream side. Shale rubble with dressed granite voussoirs to round arch and hogs-back dressed granite copings to low parapets. Single span. Probably slightly humped road surface originally and parapets splay wider apart at either side. Projecting keystone to round arch on down stream side and lintelled opening to upstream side. An unspoiled example of a single span bridge in a beautiful wooded setting. Legacy The contents of this record have been generated from a legacy data system.
