Details NY 62 SE, 22/119 LONG MARTON, BRAMPTON, Brampton Watermill 6.10.82 G.V. II Watermill, comprising miller's house and adjoining mill range; C18 with later additions. Rendered rubble. Graduated slate roofs; taller house to left has end chimneys, mill range has end finial. 2 storeys. Front has panelled door in gabled porch; single sash with glazing bars in stone surrounds to each floor on either side. Former segmental headed door now converted to window; similar wagon door to mill has window to each floor on left. Entrance to former drying room under outshut on right. Single-storey kitchen wing to rear of house, restored waterwheel under gabled canopy to rear of mill; various windows. Internally, mill machinery restored to working condition in mid/late C20.
