Dated 1855 on outer end of either parapet. Roadbridge, 3 segmental arches over River Nith. Stugged grey ashlar, piers and cutwaters, outer pilaster strips, abutments and outer face of parapet all bullfaced; channelled voussoirs; band course below parapets; latter slightly splayed at approaches. Straight, horizontal roadway.
