Bishop's Castle railway station was the terminus of the Bishop's Castle Railway, which opened in 1866 and closed in 1935. Today, the site features a large warehouse, with only the weighbridge office remaining from the original station, while the former railway line has been transformed into the Onny Trail, a walking path along the River Onny.
