About

Adventure Island is the seafront amusement park at Southend-on-Sea, free to enter with pay-per-ride or unlimited wristband pricing. Three coasters, the spinning Dr. Geekle's Mind Mangler, river rapids, log flumes and traditional fairground rides crowd onto either side of Southend Pier — the longest pleasure pier in the world. The combination of pier, beach and rides has made it Essex's most-visited family attraction, drawing more than 1.4 million day-trippers a year from London and the Home Counties.
