A capital city in a single weekend — castle, bay and the Wales Millennium Centre.
Cardiff is small enough to walk. Stay in Cardiff Bay or near the castle. Day one: Cardiff Castle and the National Museum. Day two: the Bay, the Wales Millennium Centre, and St Fagans (free, all day, the strongest day-trip in south Wales).
