A weekend in Bath

Roman baths, Georgian crescents, and Jane Austen — all in a city you can walk across in twenty minutes.

Bath was named for its Roman thermal baths, rebuilt as a Georgian spa town in the 18th century, and remains the only city in Britain that is itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Royal Crescent and the Circus are the most famous Georgian terraces in the world. A weekend covers the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, the Pump Room, and a hike up to the Prior Park landscape garden.
