Walking Hadrian's Wall Path
84 miles from Wallsend to Bowness-on-Solway — sea to sea along the Roman frontier.
Hadrian's Wall Path runs the full 84-mile length of the Roman wall from Newcastle's Wallsend to Bowness-on-Solway on the Cumbrian coast. The middle 30 miles between Chesters and Birdoswald are the most spectacular — high rugged country with the wall walking the scarps. Six to seven days for the full walk.
