Walking Glyndŵr's Way

135 miles through mid-Wales — the quietest of the National Trails.

Glyndŵr's Way is the National Trail dedicated to Owain Glyndŵr, who led the last serious Welsh revolt against the English crown (1400–1415). 135 miles through the Cambrian Mountains from Knighton to Welshpool via Machynlleth (where Glyndŵr held parliament). Eight to nine days; almost no other walkers.
