Cadw: ten Welsh heritage sites
Cadw is the Welsh government's heritage body — castles, abbeys and prehistoric tombs from Anglesey to Pembrokeshire.
Cadw (Welsh for 'to keep') manages around 130 monuments across Wales. Membership gives free entry to all of them and to English Heritage and Historic Scotland properties too. These ten include the four UNESCO-listed Edward I castles plus six others that range from a Neolithic burial chamber to the largest medieval stronghold in Britain.
