Britain has 16,000 km of coast and a national-trail network that gives walkers continuous access. The five greatest coastal paths — South West Coast Path, Pembrokeshire Coast Path, Wales Coast Path, Anglesey Coast Path and Norfolk Coast Path — together cover over 3,000 km. You won't walk them all in a holiday, but each has a flagship 3–4 day stretch that introduces the best of it.
